About the event

Diana Hacker will discuss how following a particularly interesting snippet caused her to investigate another woman who had an interesting life in Queensland. Who was she? Come along to the lecture, bring your Sherlock Holmes hat and be prepared to delve into Queensland history to find out. 


About the speaker

Diana is a Life Member of the Queensland Women’s Historical Association, having filled the roles of President, committee member, and long-term archivist in over fifty years of membership. Her previous books include, among others, Booroodabin, Lilies in the Field, Miss Lade, Not Lost and three volumes of The Matildas: Short Biographies of Queensland Women Past and Present.


Time: 1.45 pm for 2 pm start

Cost: $10 Members/ $15 non-Members. Afternoon tea is included.
