About the event
Once again, we are throwing open the doors to Miegunyah to the public FREE for our annual Open Day, Sunday 8 October!
From 9.30 am to 1.30 pm Miegunyah House Museum will be open for visitors to tour our beautiful, 1880s heritage house.
- Hear stories about the different owners and occupiers of the house, from a nineteenth-century family to the Z Special Force during the Second World War.
- View a range of fascinating objects representing Queensland’s social history, from quilts and toys to furniture and clothing.
- Shop our books, handmade craft and bric-a-brac stalls for a bargain
End your day with a delicious Devonshire tea on our breezy verandah.
No need to book, but you can register your interest so we know to expect you!
