Private Functions

Film and Theatre

Do you need an atmospheric setting for your play or film and TV production? Are you looking for an authentic nineteenth-century setting in a restored Queenslander?

More local film and theatre companies are realising the resources in their own backyard. Miegunyah has been the backdrop for an episode of Harrow, a crime series that aired on ABC from 2018 to 2021. Recently, Miegunyah has been the setting for Eve’s Game, an immersive piece of theatre involving sleuthing, feminism and tea.

We acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal people as the Traditional Custodians of the Country we live and work on at Miegunyah. We recognise their continuing connection to the land, waterways and skies, and thank them for protecting this region and its ecosystems since time immemorial. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all First Nations people, acknowledging too that they never ceded sovereignty of the land, skies and waterways.
